2023 Pinot Noir

With powerful fruit on the nose, this is a light to medium bodied Pinot Noir with elegance and structure, the palate showing flavours of dark cherry and cranberry with subtle cedar, spice and earthy notes. The crunchy acid and tannins are beautifully balanced with the fruit, resulting in a wine that is approachable now, but will continue to develop over the next few years.

Hand-picked on March 11th, matured in oak for 16 months (25% new French oak).

Vintage note: The 2023 vintage (compared to 2022) was a ripper. We were lucky to avoid frost damage seen in other areas of the Southern Highlands. The long and warm summer saw fruit reach perfect ripeness in mid-March. A great crop of exceptional fruit.
